The Tour de France ended today in Paris. Slovenia’s Tadej Pogacar won his third straight yellow jersey—dominant. He took the final stage on Champs-Élysées, sprinting past Mark Cavendish. Total lead: 5 minutes, 20 seconds over Jonas Vingegaard. Cycling’s young king rules.
Mountains broke the pack—Pogacar’s Stage 17 attack killed. Vingegaard pushed; couldn’t crack him. Time trial in Stage 20 padded it—1:21 gained. Heat hit 95°F; riders cracked—Pogacar thrived. Three-peat’s rare—25, he’s historic.
It’s not perfect—early crash cost him 30 seconds. Team UAE’s pacing slipped in flats—rivals sniffed blood. Critics say field’s weak—where’s Roglic? Still, 5 stage wins shut them up. Tour’s his playground.
Pogacar’s eyeing Olympics—gold next? Vingegaard reloads—2023’s close. Paris cheered; Slovenia partied. Cycling’s star shines bright.
